PROMENADE WORKS
What’s happening?
In March 2024, construction commenced on the 130-metre stretch of the waterfront promenade that is located directly in front of the Trielle site.
The new waterfront promenade spans from the terrace homes in the west to Point Park in the east, and will include a widened pathway, an improved sealed pavement, and a landscaped public forecourt with seating for the local community to enjoy.
Contractor
Fitzgerald Constructions is the Principal Contractor responsible for managing and delivering these early works to the waterfront promenade.

RESIDENTIAL TOWER WORKS
What’s happening?
Early works for the residential tower, Trielle, commenced in August 2024. Early works must be carried out to ensure the site is ready for the first stage of main construction works, and involves site establishment and foundation works, bulk excavation and waterproof membrane and slab on ground.
Contractor
Mirvac Constructions is the Principal Contractor responsible for managing and delivering the works to the tower.

MANAGING CONSTRUCTION
Construction activities are subject to conditions imposed by City of Melbourne Council. Further to this, Mirvac will implement the following controls to ensure the effects of construction are mitigated:
• Site management plans
• Traffic management plans
• Noise and vibration monitoring
• Dust management monitoring
• Environmental management plans
• Waste management plans
• Sediment and erosion control plans
• Street cleaning as required
OPERATION HOURS
Work hours are in line with the relevant permits in place and the City of Melbourne’s regulations:
• Between 7am and 7pm, Mondays to Fridays.
• Between 8am and 3pm, Saturdays.
If, from time-to-time activities need to take place out of hours, we will obtain the relevant permits from Council and notify our neighbours of these in advance.
Traffic & Access
A construction traffic management plan has been developed by our traffic consultant to advise the best way to manage our works and minimise impacts to the local residents and the community. This plan is in line with the City of Melbourne Council guidelines.
The site tower and promenade site has been hoarded off which restricts vehicular and pedestrian access to a short stretch of South Wharf Drive as well as the waterfront promenade. Traffic signage for vehicles and pedestrians will be placed around the updated site boundary indicating road closure and detour routes. Please see the map below for more details.
Safety During Construction
Mirvac understands that managing safety and access during construction for the community is of paramount importance. The following measures will be in place to mitigate construction site hazards at Trielle:
• Traffic controllers will supervise vehicle, pedestrian and cyclist movements as required.
• Mirvac will maintain access for any emergency or evacuation.
• All gates will be securely locked and monitored outside work hours.
• Clear signage will define the entry and exit gates during construction.
