Traffic & Access
A construction traffic management plan has been developed by our traffic consultant to advise the best way to manage our works and minimise impacts to the local residents and the community. This plan is in line with the City of Melbourne Council guidelines.
The site tower and promenade site has been hoarded off which restricts vehicular and pedestrian access to a short stretch of South Wharf Drive as well as the waterfront promenade. Traffic signage for vehicles and pedestrians will be placed around the updated site boundary indicating road closure and detour routes. Please see the map below for more details.
Safety During Construction
Mirvac understands that managing safety and access during construction for the community is of paramount importance. The following measures will be in place to mitigate construction site hazards at Trielle:
• Traffic controllers will supervise vehicle, pedestrian and cyclist movements as required.
• Mirvac will maintain access for any emergency or evacuation.
• All gates will be securely locked and monitored outside work hours.
• Clear signage will define the entry and exit gates during construction.
